We have been inviting our 365Kona Newbies to join us for stargazing at the new moon on Mauna Kea for almost three years now! We meet at the parking lot at the Visitors Center and then hike up Pu’u Kalepeamoa, the cinder cone across the street from the Visitors Center and watch sunset at the top. It is not an easy climb, but doable and the view is stunning. Can’t be there, then watch this video!
