Another guest post from our friends over at 365 Kona!
We were in sheer delight tonight to be at the Grand Opening celebration of Umekes as they opened their new location in the Brewery Block on Pawai Street in Old Industrial area of Kona. Not only did we enjoy some great food and drinks, but we were treated to a Polynesian show AND excellent Hawaiian music and entertainment.
We had a chance to meet and talk to the owner, Nakoa, who shared with us that Umekes launched a weekly luau show on Sundays AND that they still sell their famous poke for take out, too.
